What is Qilin? or What is Kylin?
Kylin, or named Qilin, it was thought a mythical creature in Chinese Culture.
It was the mount of the gods, it never destroied the grass or farm when it running,
So people think this animal is very benevolent , will protect us and take good luck to us.
It has the body of the deer, the tail of ox, the scales of fish, the single horn on its head.
Qilin, can be wrotten 麒麟 in Chinese.
You can see this design on many places, such as the copper lock.
Also appeared in Chinese baoding balls.
Qilin is the nanme Qi and lin. Mailed, was Qi; femailed, was Lin.
Qilin and turtle, dragon and phoenix all are the "Four Holy Beasts" in China.
